Recommended Components:
We recommend the following components for your Stick Chassis. The use of components other than those that are recommended here may result in clearance issues, etc.:
Tires/Wheels: With our new battery plate, most any tire and wheel combo can now work with the stick. Popular tire and wheels are the ProLine Moab tires and ProLine Mambo and Velocity Rims.
These rims require a wheel adapter to convert the Maxx hex to a Clodbuster hex, use our adapters.
Motors: We only recommend running Integy 55t or 65t lathe motors in the Stick chassis, other motors may not clear the links.
Batteries: The Stick chassis requires custom small battery packs. These packs are available on our electronics page. CheapBatteryPacks.com can make these custom packs for you as well. Go to www.cheapbatterypacks.com, then click on "custom packs". For step 1 enter 9 for number of cells (if your charger cannot handle 9 cells, choose 8 cells and include in your email to cheap battery packs that you would like them to pull one cell out of the top layer in the illustration). For step 2 you can choose any 2/3A cell, we recommend the IB1400. For step 3 choose "Unknown, will submit diagram". Step 4 select 14 AWG wire. Step 5 select whatever connector you prefer. Step 6 select no. After placing your order, email the following links to mike@cheapbatterypacks.com

Run times with these packs are about 1/2 hour with lathe motors, 9 tooth pinions, and two digital servos. If you don't have a charger that can handle a 9 cell pack have cheap battery packs pull one cell out of this pack design.
Shocks: Hot bodies shocks available on the suspension page.
Miscellaneous: A twelve inch servo extension is needed to connect the rear servo to the receiver. These are available on the electronics page.
Performance tips:
Use fuel tubing on the shock shafts to create a "dual rate" shock setup. This will allow you to run light spring rates and get good low force flex at low articulation angles. At higher articulation angles the fuel tubing will significantly increase the amount of force needed to articulate. This will help stop the axle from wrapping under the truck and other negative performance characteristics.

Customer Quotes
Tim Mitsopoulos, Malvern East, Australia
Just received the truck and must say that it looks like a top class product. It was well packaged and arrived faster than I expected.
Jason Schuetz, Rock Falls, Illinois
I must say this is the sweetest chassis I have ever had for my clod. When I had my 4 link setup I could not crawl this big rock in front of my local gas station, Not even a challenge for the Stick Chassis. I even crawled up a 14 inch high wall something I could never have done with the 4 link setup. Very nice design layout keep up the good work A+++. Thanks for breathing new life into the clod, U ROCK.
